With Sign & Pay, one signer pays an amount you set at the end of signing, by card or mobile money. The signature and the payment arrive together. Sign & Pay is part of the Business plan.
Before you start
- Connect a payout account on Payouts. Without one, the editor asks you to connect one first.
Add a payment to a document
- Prepare the document in the editor as usual and go to the Send step.
- Tick Collect a payment (Sign & Pay).
- Type the Amount, for example 250.00, and choose the Currency.
- Under Who pays, choose the signer who pays.
- Select Send for signature.
What happens next
- The payer signs as usual. The last button reads Pay and the amount, followed by and finish. They pay securely, by card or, through Paystack, mobile money.
- On the document's page, the payer's card shows Pays and the amount, then Paid once it has gone through. The audit trail records the payment.
- A receipt for every payment you receive is listed under Billing, in Payments and receipts.
Good to know
- Stripe's or Paystack's processing fee comes out of what you receive, at cost. We take no cut.
- Only one signer pays per document.
