Comparison
Salsox vs Adobe Acrobat Sign
Adobe sells e-signatures inside Acrobat, the PDF software most offices already know, and as Acrobat Sign for larger organisations. Salsox is a smaller, phone-first signing tool priced per account. Here is how they compare on what each publishes.

At a glance
Adobe's figures were taken from its own pricing pages on 15 October 2026, in US dollars. Adobe sells e-signatures in two ways: inside Acrobat Standard, Pro and Studio, which have published prices, and as the standalone Acrobat Sign for larger organisations, which is sold through sales. Prices change; check the sources before you decide.

Where Adobe is stronger
If your organisation already lives in Acrobat, its e-signatures are simply there: the same software that edits, converts and combines PDFs can send them for signature. Acrobat Pro adds reusable templates and bulk sending, and Adobe's standalone Acrobat Sign adds signing inside Microsoft Word and Teams, Salesforce and Workday, web forms that visitors fill and sign on your site, and the compliance features large organisations expect. If you need PDF editing, enterprise integrations or an IT-managed rollout, Adobe is the more complete choice and Salsox is not trying to compete with that.
Where Salsox is different
Price for small senders. A single sender pays less on Salsox than for the cheapest Acrobat plan, and Salsox is priced per account rather than per license, with no annual commitment.
Signing on phones. Signers open a link in any phone browser, see one field at a time, and need no account or app. Links can be shared by WhatsApp or SMS as well as email, which matters where clients read messages before email.
Payments in African markets. Sign & Pay works with Paystack as well as Stripe, so a signer can pay a deposit by mobile money where Paystack supports it.
Fixes in place. A wrong email address or an expired link is corrected or renewed on the same document, without starting over.
Free tools. The free browser tools sign, fill and add signatures to PDFs without an account or upload.
Which should you choose?
Choose Adobe if you need a PDF editor as well as signatures, if your team already pays for Acrobat, or if signing must live inside Microsoft, Salesforce or Workday. Choose Salsox if you only need documents signed, and often paid, by people on their phones, and you would rather pay a small flat price than a license per person. The electronic signature software checklist helps weigh the rest.
Frequently asked questions
Is Adobe Acrobat Sign cheaper than Salsox?
Not for one sender on list prices checked on 15 October 2026. Adobe lists Acrobat Standard at US$14.99 a month on an annual plan billed monthly, or US$24.99 month to month, and team licenses from US$16.99 a month each. Salsox Personal is $9 a month, per account, and Business is $19.
Can Acrobat edit PDFs and Salsox cannot?
Yes. Acrobat is full PDF software: editing, converting, combining and more, with e-signatures as one feature. Salsox signs PDFs you already have and does not edit their content.
Does Adobe let you collect payments with a signature?
Adobe's Acrobat Sign page lists collecting payments among its features. Salsox includes Sign & Pay on its Business plan, by card through Stripe or by card and mobile money through Paystack.
Does Salsox integrate with Microsoft, Salesforce or Workday like Acrobat Sign?
No. Adobe lists signing inside Microsoft Word and Teams, Salesforce and Workday. Salsox has no such integrations and no public API.
