Templates are ready-made documents for the things small businesses send most: proposals, quotes, contracts, NDAs, HR forms, leases and more. Each one comes with its signature, date and initials fields already placed.
Use a template
- In the dashboard, select Templates. Search, or filter by Category, Industry, Team or Type.
- Select a template to open it.
- Under Fill in the details, type your details into each blank. Select Use sample details to see how it reads with example text first. Any blank you leave empty prints as a line to fill in by hand.
- Check the Document title.
- Select Create document and open the editor. Nothing is sent yet.
- In the editor, add each signer's name and email on the Recipients step. The fields are already placed for them.
- Continue to Send and select Send for signature.
Good to know
- You can also start from the public template library: select Use this template and sign in or sign up; the template opens straight after.
- Templates are general starting points, not legal advice. Check that one suits your situation before you rely on it.
- To reuse your filled-in details next time, save it as your own template.
