Comparison

Salsox vs signNow

signNow, from airSlate, is a full-featured e-signature product with unlimited templates, bulk sending, payment collection and native mobile apps. Salsox is narrower: it signs PDFs you already have, on any phone, and collects payment as part of signing. Here is where each one fits.

signNow's details below come from its own website, read on 15 October 2026. Its pricing page did not show plan prices outside a browser checkout that day, so this page quotes no signNow prices rather than guess at them. Check the source before you decide.

Where signNow is stronger

signNow covers more of the e-signature job than Salsox does. Its site lists unlimited templates, bulk sending, role-based signing order, an API for embedding signatures in other software, native mobile apps, and integrations with tools such as Google Drive, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce and NetSuite. It also says plans include unlimited users, which suits a team that wants everyone sending from one subscription with their own login. If you send the same documents repeatedly, or need signing wired into a CRM or your own product, those features are the deciding factor, and Salsox does not have them.

Where Salsox is different

One flat, published price. Salsox lists its prices on its pricing page, per account, and paid plans never count documents. You can see what you will pay before you sign up, without a checkout flow.

Built for signers on phones. A Salsox signer opens a link in any phone browser, is walked through one field at a time, and is done. There is nothing to install, and the link can be shared over WhatsApp or SMS from the document page as well as by email.

Payments where cards are not the default. Sign & Pay runs on Stripe or Paystack. With Paystack, a signer can pay a deposit by mobile money where it is supported, which matters for businesses whose clients rarely pay by card.

Mistakes fixed in place. If a signer's email address was wrong or their link expired, you correct or renew it on the same document. Fields and signatures already collected stay where they are.

Free tools with no upload. The free PDF tools sign, fill and add signatures to PDFs in the browser, without an account and without sending the file to a server.

Switching from signNow

Download your completed documents and their audit trails from signNow before your plan ends: they remain your record of what was signed, and nothing needs to be signed again. Your signNow templates do not carry over, and Salsox cannot yet store your own documents as templates. For each new agreement you start from one of its ready-made templates, or upload the PDF and place fields in the editor, or let Quick Send add a signature and date for each signer. If most of your sends come from three or four templates, time one send in Salsox before you switch, so you know the cost of the change in practice.

Which should you choose?

Choose signNow if you rely on templates, bulk sending, an API or many users under one plan. Choose Salsox if your documents vary, your signers are mostly on phones, you want a price you can read before you buy, or you need to collect a deposit by card or mobile money at the moment of signing. Both let signers sign without an account, so the quickest test is to send the same real document through each and ask the signer which was easier.

Frequently asked questions

How much does signNow cost compared to Salsox?

Salsox Personal is $9 a month and Business is $19 a month, per account, with no envelope count on paid plans. signNow's plan prices could not be confirmed from its pricing page on 15 October 2026, so they are not quoted here; check signNow's pricing page for current figures.

Does signNow have templates?

Yes. signNow says you can create unlimited templates of your most-used documents, with fillable fields. Salsox has a library of ready-made templates that open in the editor with their fields placed, and paid plans can save customised copies, but it cannot yet turn your own uploaded documents into templates.

Can both collect a payment when the document is signed?

Yes. signNow describes an embedded payment system that lets recipients sign and pay from the same document. Salsox Business does the same through Stripe, or through Paystack, which adds mobile money where Paystack supports it.

Do signers need an app or an account?

Not with Salsox: signers open a link in their phone's browser and sign one field at a time. signNow says it offers mobile applications for iOS and Android.
