Salsox vs Jotform Sign
Jotform Sign is the e-signature part of Jotform, the online form builder, and shares its plans and limits. Salsox is a standalone signing tool. If you already build forms in Jotform, that matters more than any feature table.

Where Jotform is stronger
Jotform's strength is that signing sits inside a complete form platform. You can build a form, collect answers and payments, and turn PDFs into e-sign documents in the same account, choosing from a large template library, sending in bulk and routing documents through approval flows. Its free plan also signs more documents a month than Salsox's. If your work starts with forms (registrations, applications, surveys), Jotform keeps everything in one place.
Where Salsox is different
No per-document ceiling. Salsox's paid plans do not count documents. Jotform's plans set a monthly signed-document limit, so heavy senders move up the tiers.
Lower price for a single sender. Salsox Personal costs less than Jotform's first paid plan.
Paid as they sign. Salsox Business takes the payment inside the signing flow, by card through Stripe or by card and mobile money through Paystack.
Phone-first signing without an app. Signers open a link in any browser and sign one field at a time; links can be shared to WhatsApp or SMS.
Fixes in place. Wrong emails and expired links are corrected on the same document.
Switching between them
If you move from Jotform Sign to Salsox, download your signed documents and their audit trails from Jotform first; they remain valid records. Your Jotform forms and their submissions stay in Jotform, and Salsox has no form builder to replace them, so many teams keep Jotform for forms and use a separate tool only for signatures. Jotform Sign templates do not carry over; start from one of Salsox's ready-made templates or upload the PDF. If you collect payments through Jotform forms today, Salsox's Sign & Pay on the Business plan can take that payment inside the signing step instead, by card or mobile money.
Questions to ask before choosing
How many documents do you send in a typical month, and how many in your busiest? Do the people who sign usually also fill in a form first? Do you need the signer to pay at the same time? The answers point clearly to one or the other.
Which should you choose?
Choose Jotform if you already use its forms, need its templates and approval flows, or send fewer than ten documents a month for free. Choose Salsox if you send many documents and want a flat price, or need deposits collected as part of signing, particularly by mobile money.
