About the Client onboarding form template
The first week with a new client sets the tone for the relationship, and most of its delays come from missing information: the right contact, the billing address, access to a system. An onboarding form collects all of it up front, in one place, with the client's signature on it.
This template asks for what service businesses actually need: the client's legal name and registration number (for invoices), separate main and billing contacts, the services agreed, what the client wants to achieve, the systems you need access to, and how they prefer to be contacted. Writing down the client's goals at the start gives you something concrete to report against later.
The consent section confirms the client has read your terms and privacy notice and agrees to you processing their information to deliver the service. Send it through Salsox straight after the proposal is accepted.

Questions
What should a client onboarding form collect?
Legal and billing details, the people to contact for what, the services agreed, the client's goals, any access you need, and their consent to your terms and privacy notice.
Why should the client sign an onboarding form?
A signature confirms the details are correct and records consent to your terms and to processing their information, which data protection laws in many countries require.
When should I send it?
Right after the proposal or contract is signed, so you have everything before work starts.
