About the Invoice template
An invoice gets paid faster when it answers every question before it is asked: who it is from, which order it relates to, what was delivered at what price, the tax, the total, the due date, and the exact way to pay. This template puts all of that on one page in the order an accounts team reads it.
The client's purchase-order number is there because larger customers will not pay without it. The payment terms state the due date and late interest plainly. Bank details sit next to an online payment option, because the fastest invoice to settle is one the client can pay from their phone.
Most invoices need no signature. This one has an optional acknowledgement for clients who confirm delivery before paying; sent through Salsox with Sign & Pay, they acknowledge and pay in the same step.

Questions
What must an invoice include?
At minimum: your business name and contact details, the client's details, a unique invoice number, the invoice date, a description of the goods or services, amounts, the total due and the payment terms. If you are registered for VAT or sales tax, your tax number and the tax amount too.
Does an invoice need a signature?
Usually not. Some clients ask for a signed acknowledgement of work received before they pay; this template includes one for that case.
How can a client pay straight from the invoice?
Send the invoice through Salsox with Sign & Pay: the client acknowledges it and pays by card, or by mobile money through Paystack where available, in the same step.
