Influencer Agreement

This agreement is made on 24 October 2026 between Lumen Skincare Ltd, of 21 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6PG, United Kingdom (the "Brand"), and Amara Johnson, who publishes as Instagram @amaraglows and TikTok @amaraglows (the "Creator"), for the campaign Winter Glow 2026.

1. Deliverables

The Creator will create and publish one Instagram Reel of 30 to 60 seconds, three Instagram Stories with a link sticker, and one TikTok video of 30 to 60 seconds (the "Content").

2. Schedule

The Content will be published between 1 and 7 December 2026, with the Reel on 1 December. The Creator will keep each post live for at least 90 days and will not edit its caption to remove the disclosure.

3. Key messages

The Content will accurately include: the serum is fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin; use code AMARA15 for 15% off until 31 December. The Creator will not make claims about the product beyond those the Brand provides in writing.

4. Approval

The Creator will share each piece of Content with the Brand before publishing. The Brand will respond within 2 business days. The Brand may ask for changes only to correct facts, include the key messages or meet the disclosure rules; creative style is the Creator's.

5. Disclosure

Every post will be clearly labelled as advertising, using the platform's paid partnership label and the tag #ad at the start of the caption. Both parties will follow the advertising rules that apply where the Content is shown.

6. Fee

The Brand will pay the Creator GBP 3,200, 50% on signing and 50% within 14 days of the last post going live. The Creator is responsible for their own taxes.

7. Usage rights

The Creator owns the Content and grants the Brand a non-exclusive licence to use it for 6 months from the first post, for organic reposting on the brand's own channels and use as paid social ads, crediting the Creator where the format allows. Any other use needs the Creator's written agreement and may involve an additional fee.

8. Exclusivity

The Creator agrees not to post paid content for another skincare brand from 24 November 2026 to 7 January 2027.

9. Cancellation

If the Creator does not publish the Content as agreed, the Brand need not pay for the Content not delivered and may recover any part of the fee already paid for it. If the Brand cancels after the Creator has started work, the first payment is kept.

10. Conduct

Either party may end this agreement if the other does something that brings it into serious public disrepute. The Brand may then ask for posts already published to be removed.

11. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.

About the Influencer agreement template

An influencer agreement turns a direct message into a clear commission. It lists exactly what the creator will produce for each platform and when it will go live, how the brand reviews it before posting, and what the brand can do with the content afterwards, which is the point most often left vague and most often argued about.

This template requires every post to be labelled as an ad in the way advertising rules expect, using the platform's paid partnership tool and a clear tag, because both the brand and the creator can be held responsible when it is not. It limits the brand's approval to factual accuracy and the agreed messages, so the content stays in the creator's own voice, and it sets a short exclusivity window around the campaign rather than an open-ended one.

Usage rights are separate from the posting fee for good reason: running a creator's video as a paid ad for six months is worth more than a single organic post. Name the period and the uses, and pay for more if you need more.

Questions

Does sponsored content have to be labelled?

Yes. Advertising regulators in the UK, US, EU and elsewhere require paid posts to be clearly identified as ads. This template requires the platform's paid partnership label and an ad tag.

Who owns the content?

Under this template the creator keeps ownership and grants the brand a licence for a set period and set uses. If the brand needs to own it outright, that is a buyout and usually costs more.

What if a post is late or missing?

The second half of the fee is due only after the last post is live, and section 9 lets the brand withhold payment for content not delivered, so the incentive is built in.
