About the Quote template
A quote that the client signs is more than a price: it is the order. Once accepted, it records what you agreed to do, for how much, and on what terms, which is exactly what you need when the scope is questioned later.
This template lays a quote out the way buyers compare them: a one-line summary, itemised prices with quantities, tax and total, what is included and what is not, timing, and a validity date so you are not held to an old price after material costs move. The terms cover the deposit, how changes are priced, and warranty.
The acceptance block is the signature that turns the quote into a job. Send it through Salsox; the client accepts on their phone, and with Sign & Pay the deposit can be paid in the same step.

Questions
What is the difference between a quote and an estimate?
A quote is usually a fixed price for the work described; an estimate is an approximate figure that may change. Label the document clearly and, for an estimate, say how much the final price may vary.
How long should a quote be valid?
Fourteen to thirty days is common. Material and labour costs change, so a validity date protects you from honouring an old price.
Why get a quote signed?
A signed quote is the client's written approval of scope and price. It turns the quote into an order and is what you refer to if the scope changes later.
