2. Schedule
Work starts the week of 16 November 2026 and takes about 8 working days, weather permitting. Rain or frozen ground may delay work; we will keep the client informed and finish as soon as conditions allow.
3. Before we start
The client will confirm the property boundaries and tell us of any known pipes, cables or drains. We will use a cable and pipe locator before digging. The client will provide access to water and a power point.
4. Hidden conditions
If we find buried obstacles, poor ground or anything else not visible when quoting, we will stop, show the client and quote the extra work at GBP 45 per labourer per hour plus materials. Extra work is done only with the client's agreement.
5. Planting guarantee
Plants we supply that fail within the first growing season will be replaced free of charge, provided they were watered according to the care sheet we leave at completion.
6. Payment
A deposit of GBP 1,700, due on acceptance to book the start date. The balance is due within 7 days of completion. Materials remain our property until paid for in full.
7. Validity
This quote is valid for 30 days from the date above.

About the Landscaping quote template
Landscaping quotes are hard to compare when one line reads "patio and lawn". This template itemises the work so the client sees what they are paying for: each area with its size, the materials, and the waste removal that is often forgotten until the skip arrives.
It is upfront about the things that can change the price. Ground conditions are unknown until digging starts, so the quote states a rate for extra work caused by hidden obstacles such as buried rubble, roots or old foundations, and says the client agrees before any of it is done. Weather can move the schedule. Utilities need to be located before excavation.
New planting comes with a clear guarantee and the client's part in it: plants are replaced if they fail within the season, as long as they were watered as instructed.
