Signing links stop working after the expiry you chose when sending (30 days unless you changed it). A signer who opens an expired link sees This link has expired, with your name and email so they can ask you to renew it.
Renew the links
- Open the document from Documents. Its status shows Expired, with a note that the links expired before everyone signed.
- Select Renew and resend.
- Everyone who still has to sign gets a new email with a working link. You'll see Links renewed and resent.
Good to know
- Nothing needs to be rebuilt, and anything already signed or filled in is kept.
- To avoid it next time, select Extend links on a document that's still waiting, before the links run out. You can also choose a longer expiry, or Never, on the Send step.
