About the Marketing proposal template
Marketing proposals fail when they promise activity instead of results. This template starts from the client's business goal (enrolments, sales, bookings) and translates it into three measurable targets, so both sides agree from day one what success looks like.
The plan section names the channels and the creative you will produce, in enough detail that the client can picture the campaign. Pricing separates your retainer from the ad budget the client pays to the platforms, and from one-off set-up costs; agencies that blur those lose trust fast. Reporting cadence is stated up front, because most client relationships sour over silence, not results.
Close it with a term and signatures. Sent through Salsox, the client signs from their phone, and the set-up fee can be paid as they accept.

Questions
Should ad spend be included in the agency fee?
Keep it separate. The client pays platforms directly, or you pass it through at cost, and your retainer covers your work. It makes both figures easier to judge.
What KPIs should a marketing proposal include?
Two or three that connect to the client's business goal: enquiries, bookings, sales or cost per result, each with a number and a date.
How long should a first marketing engagement be?
Three months is common: long enough to learn and optimise, short enough for a new client to commit.
