Online contract signing and management, without a contract management system
Small businesses do not need a contract lifecycle platform. They need contracts signed quickly, kept in one place, easy to find, and provable later. That is what Salsox does, and here is where its limits are.
Why use it
One list of every contract
Every agreement you send, with its status, signers and dates, searchable and filterable.
Signed copies on hand
The signed PDF and its audit trail for each contract, downloadable any time.
Yours to take away
Export every contract and audit trail on any plan, including after you cancel.
Signing is the part that stalls
For most small businesses, the hard part of contracts is not storing them; it is getting them signed. A contract emailed as an attachment waits for a printer, a scanner and a free afternoon. Salsox turns that into a link the other party opens on their phone and signs in a couple of minutes, one field at a time, with no account to create. Contracts can go out by email, or be shared to WhatsApp or SMS from the document's page.
Keeping contracts in one place
Every contract you send lives in one list, newest activity first. Each entry shows its title, status and how many of its signers have signed. Filter to see everything awaiting signatures, everything completed, anything declined or expired; search by title to find one contract among hundreds. Open any entry to see each signer's progress, download the signed PDF, or read its audit trail.
For a small team, that list often replaces the folder of scanned PDFs nobody can search and the spreadsheet of who signed what.
Proving what was agreed
A contract is worth what you can prove about it. Each document keeps an audit trail of when it was sent, opened and signed, by whom, from what device. On the Business plan, completed contracts are sealed with a certificate page, and anyone can confirm a signed copy has not changed using its verification code on the public verify page.
Starting from a template
Most small businesses sign the same handful of contracts. The template library covers the common ones, such as a service agreement, freelance contract, mutual NDA and residential lease. Fill in the details and the contract opens in the editor with every signature field already placed; on the Personal plan you can save your filled-in version to reuse. Templates are ready-made: Salsox does not turn contracts you upload into reusable templates.
Contract changes
When something changes after sending (a wrong email, an expired link), it is corrected on the same document without losing signatures already collected. When the contract itself must change, cancel it and send the revised version; the cancelled one stays in the list with its history.
Your contracts, exportable
Records are yours. On any plan you can export every document, original and signed, with its audit trail, at any time, and you keep that right after cancelling.
Where the limits are
Contract lifecycle management platforms do far more: they draft contracts from clause libraries, manage negotiation and redlines, track obligations and renewal dates, route approvals across departments, and connect to CRMs and ERPs. Salsox does none of that. It does not remind you when a contract is due for renewal, and it does not store contracts that were signed somewhere else. If those are what you need, a CLM platform is the right tool; if you need contracts signed fast and kept organised, Salsox is a simpler and cheaper fit.
Templates to start from
Each opens in the editor with its signature fields already in place.
Business contracts
Consulting agreement template
The contract behind a consulting engagement: what the consultant will advise on, how they are paid, who owns the reports, and the confidentiality and non-solicitation terms clients expect.
Business contracts
Event sponsorship agreement template
Agree what a sponsor pays and what they get for it: logo placements, stage time, tickets and data, exclusivity in their category, and what happens if the event moves or is cancelled.
Business contracts
Memorandum of understanding (MOU) template
Put a collaboration in writing before the full contract: the shared purpose, what each side will contribute, who leads what, and a clear line between what is binding and what is not.
Business contracts
Partnership agreement template
For two or more people running a business together: who put in what, how profits are shared, who decides what, and what happens when a partner wants out. Written before it is needed.
Business contracts
Referral agreement template
Pay partners for introducing customers, without arguments about who referred whom: define a qualified referral, the fee and when it is earned, and how referrals are registered.
Business contracts
Service agreement template
The general-purpose contract for a business supplying services to a client: what will be delivered and to what standard, fees and payment, how long it runs, and how it ends.
Frequently asked questions
Is Salsox a contract lifecycle management system?
No. It has no clause library, negotiation or redlining, obligation tracking or renewal alerts for your contracts. It signs contracts and keeps them organised and provable.
Can I upload contracts signed elsewhere?
No. Salsox stores the contracts sent through it. Keep older signed contracts in your own document storage.
Can I find a contract quickly?
Yes. The documents list searches by title and filters by status: awaiting signatures, completed, declined, expired or cancelled.
